Xiaomi has revealed some new teasers over their Mi Watch, and while there's plenty to talk about in terms of the design, probably the most interesting aspect to look out for is that it's running on its own smartwatch-based variant of the MIUI.
It's unknown whether this version of the MIUI is based on the Wear OS, which is interesting considering how much the Mi Watch looks similar to the Apple Watch, even having a digital crown on the side. But they did release a video showing how it will work, and it does have its own UI which shows that Xiaomi is going for a full-featured experience on the smartwatch. It still uses the rotating crown quite a bit, similar to the Apple Watch though.
The teaser also explicitly confirms that the smartwatch uses a Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset, which is the chip being used in most Wear OS smartwatches currently. More information is set to be revealed on its official launch on November 5 in China.
