Another day, another car launch… this time it’s a new addition to the Tata Motors family. An extension of the company’s in-house brand, Tiago, the Tiago NRG is touted as the ‘Urban Toughroader’ that can drive on tougher terrains as easily as it can beat city potholes. An aspiring SUV-like vehicle, with 180mm ground clearance and a special tuned suspension for rough road terrains, this passenger car is almost there. The armoured front-end design gives it the appearance of tough and the large boot space (242L) ensures that any time spent in the car wouldn’t be cramped. With starting price of ₹5,49,000 for the petrol version and ₹6,31,000 for the diesel version (ex-showroom Delhi) and availability in three colours - Malabar Silver, Canyon Orange and Fuji White, maybe you can finally explore the hidden parts of the city, take a roadtrip to Goa with friends, Dil Chahta Hai style, or even a weekend away by yourself. Go figure how to manage the EMI, we promise it wouldn’t take too long!
