To wave off gaming monitors after checking their resolution in 2019 is a lot like entering a buffet and chilling in the dessert section. It’s nice and all but look at all the other things too! The Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD is not just your regular eye-feasting candy, it’s everything a gaming monitor should be and shouldn’t be. For starters, it’s got a beautiful 2K screen (also, available in FullHD) and a 144Hz Freesync refresh rate. The 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut means it can display more colours on its 10-bit IPS panel. And if that’s not enough, it's also an HDR display for punchier depth in colours. Believe us, we’ve seen it and it looks like our next date. Although, that’s not even why this so-called Tactical monitor is named rightly so. No sir. It’s got an overlay with a host of software features that aid aiming through its monitor. So Mr. Noobdestroyer will be sniping you without an in-game crosshair and you won’t even be able to catch him. Switch over to PUBG and the monitor will let you add timings for the next supply drop and set custom timers. The OSD Sidekick can be controlled with your mouse so you don’t have to use your potato-chip laced fingers to touch the RGB body. There’s even a feature to get real-time PC hardware information and have a picture-in-picture overlay to add your lovely face on the stream. The crowning feature? There’s ANC built into the monitor so if your teammates can never hear your mom yelling. They can hear you though because it’s said to intelligently kick out background noise and stream only your jabber to the folks at the other end.
