Looks like Oppo is ready to bring more 5G tech into Malaysia this year as the company has received official certification from SIRIM WAS International to roll out a new generation of smartphones that will come with 5G.
While Oppo didn't reveal much on which models to look out for, SoyaCincau has pointed out that the Oppo 5G had gotten the green light by SIRIM, with the model number CPH1921 having appeared on the certification database that covers the 5G band. To be specific, it's the first-gen Oppo Reno 5G that is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and it supports 10X hybrid zoom.
There should be more devices to look out for, but at least the Oppo Reno 5G is confirmed to arrive in Malaysia. No information on a launch date yet, but you can be sure that Oppo has plenty to offer this year. On the bright side, you can also look forward to getting another 5G smartphone that can support Google Apps.
