The Honor 9X and 9X Pro was recently launched in China earlier today. Aside from being an upgrade to the Honor 8X, it’s worth noting that the 9X series are the first smartphones from the company to feature a pop-up selfie camera module this year.
Both the 9X and 9X Pro features a 6.59-inch display with 2340 x 1080 resolution, Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.1.1, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, MicroSD card support up to 512GB, a Kirin 810 processor, and a battery capacity of 4,000 mAh. What differs between the two variants are their offerings in terms of RAM, storage options, and camera setup.
The standard 9X comes in options of 4GB/6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The 9X Pro on the other hand, provides options of 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage.
Camera-wise, both variants are equipped with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera, and a 48MP main camera with 2MP depth sensor. The 9X Pro exclusively features an additional 8MP ultra-wide angle camera to its setup.
The Honor 9X will be available in Red, Blue, and Midnight Black colour options, while the Honor 9X Pro will come in Phantom Blue and Midnight Black colours. Both phones will be on sale in China on July 30th and August 9th respectively. The prices are as follows:Honor 9X Price
