If an Apple MacBook seems too expensive a proposition, then perhaps check out the latest Asus offering: the Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA. Running on an Intel Core M Skylake processor and Windows 10, it is a super light 13.3in laptop.
A convertible laptop, you can flip the screen into tablet mode or tent display mode. The IPS touchscreen has a Full HD resolution with Intel 515 Graphics and a 178-degree viewing angle. The basic version comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD storage, and supports high-speed wireless 802.11ac and 1000Mbps gigabit ethernet. It comes with two USB3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.1 and even has a Type-C USB Gen 1 port.
Asus also says the laptop comes with an ultra-responsive touchpad as well as ultra-durable hinges that are supposed to withstand up to 20,000 open/close cycles.
Other additions are a Micro HDMI display port, a 3.5mm audio jack, an SD/SDXC card reader and a 54Whr/4590mAh battery. Asus claims the device can last up to 12 hours on a single charge. All this weighs just 1.3kg and comes in two colour options; Icicle Gold and Mineral Gray.
The Ultrabook will be available starting today for ₹46,990.
