Looks like Honor will also be releasing a 5G smartphone this year. Honor announced the Honor View 30 Pro, their first 5G smartphone, at a recent live stream. The device is powered by a Kirin 990 5G chipset, and comes with a 6.7-inch 1080p display and a hole-punch selfie camera, and gets a 4,100mAh battery. Based on the announcements, the Honor View 30 Pro is set to launch worldwide.
Other than its 5G capabilities, Honor is also emphasising on the Honor View 30 Pro's camera. It has a triple camera setup consisting of a 40-megapixel f/1.6 camera, a 12-megapixel f/2.2 camera for wide-angle video, an 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto camera, as well as a laser autofocus. There’s also a dual selfie camera featuring 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras.
There are three colours to look out for; Ocean Blue, Icelandic Frost, and Midnight Black. You can find out more about the device on Honor's official website.
Honor did not reveal a pricing or even when the device would be available yet. Another device that's also set to go global is the Honor MagicBook series, though the device is stated to be available by the end of March.
