We've known about the Honor MagicBook for a while now but it's been locked in China ever since its debut. After yesterday's live stream from Barcelona, we can now expect the Honor MagicBook series to make its way to the global market - which should include Malaysia.
The Honor MagicBook series consists of the Honor MagicBook 14 and Honor MagicBook 15. Available in Space Gray and Mystic Silver, they come in either 14″ and 15.6″ option. They're both packed with the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, and comes with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels in an aspect ratio of 16:9.
It's the Honor MagicBook 14 that's the star as it's aimed at the young and on-the-go, with the device lasting up to 10 hours in a single charge with its 56W battery, while the 15 version gets a 42W one. It comes with a compact Type-C charger with 65W fast charging capability.
Just like the Huawei MateBook series, the HONOR MagicBook Series comes equipped with a pop-up webcam that is discreetly hidden underneath the camera button on the keyboard as well as a fingerprint power button which enables instant access from startup to desktop directly for a more secure and effortless login experience. There's also the smart interconnectivity between Honor smartphones and the laptop to look out for too.
So far, the HONOR MagicBook 14/15 (256GB) will be made available by the end of March with the retail price of €599 (~RM2748).
