The Google Pixel line of smartphones has always been powerhouses, offering some exclusive features as well as amazing cameras. The Pixel’s availability and price has always been the main hassle to us here in Malaysia. But maybe a new midrange line of Google Pixels can offset some of that hassle and more.
Two new mid range phones have been rumored for a while now, known as the Google Pixel 3 Lite and the Google Pixel 3 Lite XL. While they may have not been officially announced by Google themselves, it is speculated that these will be lower priced offerings, but still keep the main attractions of a Google Pixel. Some compromises were expected, but we can finally see what we can expect from these phones through a listing on Geekbench.com.
Based on the listings, the Google Pixel XL Lite will be equipped with the Snapdragon 710 SoC, 32 GB of storage, and 6 GB of RAM, which is 2 extra RAMs compared to the original Pixel 3. The two new mid range phones will also be backed up by Android Pie on release. Besides that, there will be a 12 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera for both phones.
Of course, these are all mere speculation, though we do hope they’ll come true. Mid Range smartphones are just as good as a flagship these days and it’s great to see Google seizing the opportunity to offer this range to their fans.
