GoPro HERO6 (RM2399)
With the usual matte black finish and a familiar look like its predecessor, the GoPro Hero6 makes your next adventure easier to record. The Hero6 Black films in your choice of 4K60 and 1080p240 video while employing improved video stabilisation.
The custom-made GP1 Processor is designed in-house which means improved frame rates, image quality, expanded dynamic range and low light performance. Touch zoom is now available on the screen of the GoPro Hero6 for better focused videos.
The Hero6 is also waterproof up to 10m so there’s no need to worry if you’re planning on vlogging your snorkelling trip. Then you can immediately upload it onto your phone with the help of QuikStories, a feature of the GoPro app.

vivo V7+ (RM1499)
For a bezel-less screen experience in a mid-range phone, the V7+ could give you a taste of the 18:9 screen ratio made popular in the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6, but at a fraction of the price. Measuring in at almost 6in, the V7+ has a 720p HD screen which isn’t too impressive but is workable as long as you don’t put it next to a 1080p screen.
The V7+ has a Qualcomm octa-core CPU coupled with a Snapdragon 450 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable memory.
Featuring a 24MP selfie shooter in the front, it comes with the usual slew of beautification filters and a single (gasp!) rear camera with 64MP Ultra HD function that merges 4 frames into one for more detailed pictures.
The vivo V7+ is available in Crown Gold and Matte Black on 29 September at vivo concept stores and online at Lazada.
Samsung J7+ (RM1599)
The Samsung J7+ has just landed in Malaysia and although it is part of the J-series, it comes with a price tag almost double the rest of its J brethren. The Galaxy J7+ has a MediaTek MT6757 Octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that’s expandable up to 256GB. Its 5.5in Full HD screen has an Always-On display and features face recognition, Bixby Home and operates Android Nougat out of the box.
The J7+ is a way to make dual camera systems more accessible to the masses with its dual 13MP and 5MP cameras and 16MP front camera. Offering Live Focus mode like its big brother, the Galaxy Note 8, this allows users to adjust bokeh before and also after a photo has been taken.
Pre-order it in either black or gold at Lazada and get it after 28 of September.
