Stuff Gadget Awards 2019: These are the best gadgets of the year

Our February issue is on the stands. And the winners are...

We dedicated the year to testing as many new gadgets as possible.

It’s Judgement Day as we choose the best of the best across many, many categories that we tested. The year gone by was one filled with launches – smartphones, budget smartphones, cars, bikes and every other piece of tech imaginable under the sun.

The biggest prizes in consumer tech cover these 21 hotly contested categories encompassing the cream of the crop from the past 12 months, from TV of the Year to Wearable of the Year and everything in between.

And the 2019 winners are…

Selecting Gadget of the Year is no easy feat. While Apple was the most worthy contender in the Phones, Laptops and Wearables category (and it did win our awards and our hearts), there were some equally worthy products that brought sunshine to our office while we spent the days testing them.

Here’s what brewed last month...

OnePlus surprised everyone with their first ever concept phone with tech that is bound to make way to a production spec device soon. We also drove the Carnival, KIA’s second car for India that can put smiles on up to 9 onboard souls.

TVs TVs everywhere…

Amazon’s newest, the Echo Studio found its way to our desk and it’s safe to say it’s Amazon’s best Echo device till date. In other news, flagship televisions are making their way into our living rooms everyday, getting smarter by the day. If these smart TVs were to make offsprings, it would be lazier than a child produced collectively by Homer Simpson and Joey Tribbiani. For us, we were content with our reviews on Onida and Cloudwalker – big on smarts and kind on your pockets. Pick up the mag for in-depth reviews of both.
