You have all seen cameras residing on the top in different shapes, peeping from a hole, popping up, sliding out and God knows where all.

And now Samsung has tried something different to please the lifestyle population. Placed under the Galaxy 2.0 strategy, the A80 has a sliding mechanism that lifts the entire camera module (that has three cameras), rotates it and faces it in front to grab selfies. The module that comprises of a 48MP, an 8MP and a 3D Depth sensor along with an LED flash rotates 180-degrees to do a double duty for the photo frenzy user. The vibrating display (piezoelectric earpiece below) is all-new 6.7-inch Infinity sAMOLED with no notches or holes, hogging the entire front space. Below it is an upper-mainstream Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor clubbed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and powered by a 3700mAh batter that can speedily charge with the bundled 25W charger. But this new mainstream beast does not come cheap — with a price tag of ₹47,900 for any of the three colours (Ghost White, Phantom Black or Angel Gold) the Korean giant takes the throne to be the first brand to rotate a triple camera on an axis. Pre-booking starts July 22 to July 31, sales from Aug 1.
