Companies continue to launch products that they believe will eventually replace the trusty ol’ maid. The latest company to give it a shot is Realme, which unveiled the Techlife Robot Vacuum. Like most other robot vacuums out there, this one too is designed to vacuum and mop your house with little to no intervention from your end. It may not have your maid’s experience in finding dirt, but it does have a LiDAR-based navigation system to map a room and then precisely clean it. With a suction power of 3,000 Pascals, Realme claims it offers among the best cleaning experiences. Aiding the cleaning process are 38 different sensors onboard, and a 5,200mAh battery that can clean a 100 square meter room thrice. Try asking your maid to do that! The machine can be controlled via the Realme Link app, as well as voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The Techlife Robot Vacuum costs €279 (approximate ₹25,000), and is on pre-sale on Realme's website and AliExpress.
