MG continues to build an enviable portfolio of SUVs, and the latest in its lineup is the much-teased MG One. In terms of design, the new SUV is quintessentially MG with bold cuts, and a roofline that tapers towards the rear. The two-tone colour scheme, 18in alloys, and the large 3D-designed front grille give the One a sporty SUV look. MG hasn’t revealed any technical details, but it does touch upon the brand-new Sigma platform on which the One is built. This architecture is said to offer a lower centre of gravity and higher torsional rigidity along with more cabin space. MG also adds that the architecture is quite modular in nature allowing it to support a variety of body types (hatch, notch, sports car, SUV and more), engines, and electric technologies in the future.
