HP's AIO gets Android onto your PC

The Slate 21 is probably the biggest consumer Android device ever

Announcing what is likely the biggest Android device to date alongside their other two slate devices, HP’s Slate 21 AIO brings the mobile operating system to the desktop.

AIO Confusion

Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, has 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a Tegra Quad-core T40S Processor.

So what exactly does that make it? A very large tablet with a keyboard and mouse.  21.5” is already ridiculously large to be playing Candy Crush on (believe us, we tried and it was a bigger workout than we expected) and despite having an IPS display, the screen simply wasn’t nearly as sharp as we would have hoped. It does however make a decent pseudo-PC for the kids or to do a smidge of work on considering you have a plethora of Android apps at your disposal; if you like that sort of thing.

The Slate 21 is priced at RM 1,099 and will officially make its appearance in September.
