Fee like partying mid-month? Then you're in luck as YouTube is hosting a fan meetup this coming June 17 at popular live show venue KL Live.
The best thing about the gig is that it's free with one caveat: you need to register at the Malaysian YouTube fansite.
A possible draw to the show is popular local hip-hop artist Joe Flizzow, who is bringing along Altimet (currently most known for his earworm track "Havoc") and SonaOne.
Other acts include Diandra A, Joseph Germani, Joyce Chu, the controversial Namewee, indie darling Narmi and pop band Red People.
As to who YouTube is bringing in as an international act, it's hard to say and as to why the sudden YouTube concert, your guess is as good as ours.
Popular YouTube artists have visited the country on their own gigs including Ryan Higa and David Choi. Perhaps they will make a reappearance due to the good reception they had when they came over. YouTube stars Boyce Avenue have passed over the country, choosing instead to tour neighbouring countries like the Philippines.
So if you're keen to party with YouTube, then register. Be warned though that the venue will close as soon as capacity is reached so best come early.
