Sony Xperia Z2
Sony’s latest representative is a 2.3GHz quad-core powerhouse. Wrapped in a 5.2in 1920x1080 Triluminous display and packing a 20.7MP eye with the ability to record video in 4K , it’s not one to be trifled with. And for good reason, because it’s been designed to withstand most of what daily use can throw at it, even if you have the most buttery of fingers.
For those who like their smartphones classy, the Xperia Z2 delivers on the looks with its all glass back and aluminium edges, which doesn’t compromise on its portability all that much, completing the weigh-in at 163g.
What’s hot: If the G3 was future proof in terms of display, the Xperia Z2 is the future if the world should ever be flooded. But only up to 1m for 30 minutes since it just has an IP55/58 waterproof rating.
What’s not: Limited internal storage. You only get one option and that’s 16GB which is clearly not enough for people who are hungry for movies while they're on the move. While it’s expandable, it’s only up to 64GB.
