Milkcrate Athletics x Beats
While HBO might have commissioned Aaron LaCrate of Baltimore’s first streetwear brand to create the official fashion range for The Wire, his partnership with Beats didn’t fare as well. We all know camouflage and orange just don’t go together like Dr Dre and Eminem do.
Illest x Beats
Like a self-fulfilling prophecy, looking at these Beats Pro headphones did make us feel a little ill. It kind of looks like the little light specks you see after rubbing your eyes, or like something inflicted with a bad skin condition.
And like it wasn't bad enough, they followed up with an equally sick-inducing Beats Studio version in a different colour scheme.
More after the break...
Limited Edition Year of the Horse
Red and gold might send handphones flying off the shelves, but not if you slap on the Chinese character for ‘horse’ to commemorate the Year of the Horse, making it borderline suitable for wear this year, and garishly unsuitable for the next 11. Guess people could always use it appropriately once every 12 years instead.
Staple Design x Beats
The colour combination might not look that bad. But turn it to the side and you’ll see where Staple perched its iconic pigeon, otherwise known as a flying rat to others.
You might think that’s not too bad, but check out the headband and you’ll find Staple Design’s signature splat-of-bird-poop motif. Let's hope it won't inspire any real life action when you're wearing these.
