The SoundTouch 10 joins Bose’s family of wireless speakers

The SoundTouch 20 & 30 get updates, and are also joined by an all-new younger sibling - the uber-compact SoundTouch 10

Freedom from wires that get tangled up in furniture, freedom from worrying about your frisky labrador sending your expensive new audio system crashing down to the floor, and easy portability for your winter night terrace parties. Yeah, wireless systems are the bees’ knees. And guess what, Bose has just updated its range just in time for the festive season!

Bose has launched updated versions of its SoundTouch speakers - the SoundTouch 20 Series III and the SoundTouch 30 Series III. These new versions do away with AirPlay streaming, but make up for that with an upgrade to dual-band Wi-Fi and the introduction of Bluetooth for what should be a comprehensive streaming solution for your bedroom or living room. As earlier, you can install the SoundTouch app on your tablet or phone for playing streaming audio, there’s NAS support for those of you with massive music libraries at home,  and you can even combine different SoundTouch systems for multi-room audio.

But it’s not just the updated SoundTouch 20 & 30 that Bose has announced - they’re joined by a baby brother - the all-new SoundTouch 10. Weighing just under 2 kilos and with quite compact dimensions, it’s the kind of device you’d keep in your bedroom or study. The SoundTouch 10 includes USB and Aux inputs, comes with a remote control for when you don’t want to use your smartphone, and supports MP2, WMA, AAC, and Apple Lossless audio. Apart from this, Bose’s new range also includes a 5.1 home theatre - the SoundTouch 520, and a pair of soundbars - the SoundTouch 120 and 120.

The new SoundTouch 10 has an MRP of ₹19,013, while the updated SoundTouch 20 and 30 list at ₹33,638 and ₹57,263 respectively. As for SoundTouch home theatre systems, the range starts out at ₹1,10,138.
