Motorola g8 power lite is heavy on specs and light on the wallet

Smartphone for the price of a dumbphone

A price tag of 8,999 for a smartphone with triple cameras is quite a bargain if you ask us. Although there’s more to the g8 power lite than its macro, depth and primary camera sensors at the back.  Moto is a bit hush-hush about its processor, but we know its a 2.3Ghz octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. If you feel the need to bump up the storage, there’s also a microSD slot and it can also take a few splashes come monsoon. The 6.5in might be too big for regular mitts but it packs a 5000mAh battery to get you through two days without looking for a plug socket. At least that’s what Moto is saying. There’s also a fingerprint scanner so you don’t waste time getting into the OS, which, Motorola says, is ad-free and bloatware free. That’s quite commendable albeit the name could’ve been as small as the amount. Moto g8 power lite? It’ll be available on Flipkart starting May 29.
