We recently picked up the realme Buds Wireless at RM149 and I must say that this pair of earphones is actually pretty good for its price. While subjective, I am a fan of bass, and the Buds Wireless provides just what I am looking for. Overall sound quality is quite decent and for the price, I am certainly not complaining. It comes with two pairs of ear tips, a pair of ear supports and a micro-USB cable.

Impressive sound quality

The realme Buds Wireless turns on when you separate the earbuds, and turns off, when you join them together. This magnetic technology isn’t new and exclusive but I appreciate it. Pairing via bluetooth is really straight-forward and it effortlessly do so with multiple devices during our test. De-pairing is also easy where all you need to do is to hold down the distinctive realme ‘R’ button for five seconds.

What impresses me is the sound quality. I am certainly satisfied with it for the price I paid. I have no complaints in this department at all. However, I am just slightly miffed at the ear supports as I don’t find them comfortable. Thankfully, they are removable. The necklace on the other hand is really comfortable; and while I didn’t engage in any intense activities with the product, I can imagine that it won’t be a nuisance for those who want to bring their music along during sports.

Final verdict

All in all, the realme Buds Wireless hits all the right notes for its price tag. I am satisfied with the sound quality, simplicity and level of comfort it offers. I just wish that there were more colour options for me to choose from.
