Samsung's Note 5 rumoured not to have curved edge, unlike the next Note Edge

Whispers so far is that the Note 5 will have more screen resolution

If Note fans are hoping that the next iteration would have a curvier design, well, rumours say that's not going ot happen.

Apparently the Note 5 will be running the Exynos 7422 chipset, while some units are being tested with the new Exynos 7430 chip instead. More like it will run the first chip instead, one that's an upgrade from the 7420 on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Apart from that, Samsung is currently testing Super AMOLED and QHD screens on the phablet.

As to the Note Edge rumours, it'll use a slighty lower-end processor but have a dual-edge curve touchscreen like the S6 Edge. Expect it to be running the Snapdragon 808 instead of an Exynos processor. Other tidbits: the device could have 16GB of internal storage and a 16MP OIS-enabled back camera.

How true is this? Nothing's confirmed besides the Note 4's overdue for an upgrade. Let's see if Samsung can fight off all the phablet competition.
