Samsung revealed that it has a new wearable in store, one geared towards fitness.
Samsung revealed its plans in a survey given to its SmatLab Plus research community. The device is set to combine the best of the Gear S3 and Gear Fit 2.
The device will have a small body as well as interchangeable straps, and also a revised UI. Samsung envisions the device as something users can easily take from work to play and vice-versa.
Its fitness optimisation includes reminders for you to get moving if the device detects you've been a bit too sedentary. It will also display pertinent information to your fitness goals, and of course you can use it for fitness goals - such as tracking exercise and calories.
The new watch will also be waterproof, so you can take it swimming if you want.
As to the name, however, that is as yet unknown as is the launch date and the software it will run. We'll see if Samsung will prep it in time for the Galaxy Note 8 launch.
