Samsung A40 Renders Leaked with Dual-Rear Camera, 25MP Selfie Camera and Infinity U Display

The new smartphone in the Samsung A series might be priced around MYR1,150

While Samsung recently launched the new Galaxy M20, and Galaxy A30 and A50, a day apart from each other no less, renders of another A series phone has surfaced on the internet. According to GizChina, the renders came from a Dutch retailer that listed the Galaxy A40 and was accepting pre-orders. Design-wise, it will be coming with a  5.9-inch FHD+ 2280×1080 resolution Infinity U AMOLED display, similar to the A30 and A50. For colour options, the renders showed Black, Blue, Coral and White.

In terms of processing, it will supposedly sport Exynos 7885 processor with the ARM Mali G71 GPU, plus a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that is expandable to 512GB. For cameras, it inherits a similar dual camera setup to the A30 with 16MP + 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and the 25MP selfie camera from the A50.

Powering all that is a 3,100mAh battery with 15W fast charging through USB-C, and it reportedly comes with Android Pie out of the box. The listing by the Dutch retailer showed a pre-order price of EUR249 which is approximately MYR1,150.
