The Huawei Honor 6 flagship has been around for almost a year and an update is pretty much due. A new teaser has been released shedding some light on when it'll be revealed - what looks like a launch event on June 8, possibly for the Honor 7.
The teaser is really just a teaser, nothing more, as there is very little information because it is just a nicely rendered banner, a date, and a famous quote from Albert Einstein, ”Imagination is everything”. With the vagueness of the teaser, it could be anything but everything points to an Honor 7. There are reportedly two variants of the phone, so we are unsure whetherboth will be released on the stated date or would one be released in July.
The new Honor 7 (both of them) will be covered in aircraft grade metal. The device will have a 5’ 1080p display powered with the company’s own made Kirin 935 chipset 13MP camera with OIS, and should run on Emotion UI 3.0 based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 3,280mAh battery. Here is where the similarity for both variants end, as the regular variant will be fitted with 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage while the higher end one packs a 4GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.
Expected price is around US$322 for the base model and US$435 for the high-end model respectively. The price is quite a large difference for a memory boost, so there could be possible additional features that we don’t know about yet.
