After a long delay, LG has finally brought its G5 flagship to Malaysia with a surprise addition, the Stylus 2 Plus.
Pricey in a competitive market
The G5 carries the mainstay Snapdragon 820 processor you see on most flagships and comes with 32GB of storage with microSD support for up to 2TB as well as dual-SIM. There's also 4GB of RAM.
The 2800mAh battery is removeable, a rarity these days and its camera is 16MP in the rear with OIS with a secondary 8MP as well, with another 8MP camera in front.
What might appeal to some is the G5's modular design that allows swapping in of various modules including a HiFi Plus DA Module and an LG CAM Plus camera grip. At RM2699 it's a bit of a tough sell considering LG just launched the V20 that comes with Android Nougat.
For bargain-seekers, the LG Stylus 2 Plus looks good on paper, with a 5.7in Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and its very own nano-stylus that LG claims is more responsive than one with a rubber tip.
Camera-wise its rear has 16MP in the back, 8MP in the front with a 3000mAh battery and a tempting RM1399 price.
Both models can already be purchased from DirectD and other online retailers, with official models distributed by Zitron.
