Fresh off being announced at the recent Mobile World Congress, the Huawei P10 line is now officially available in the country.
UPDATE 10/04/17: With little fanfare, the Huawei P10 Plus is now available at all Huawei stores and official retail outlets. The phone is going for RM3099 and comes in two colour options, which are Dazzling Gold and Graphite Black.
Check out our review of the Huawei P10 Plus before you go out and get a unit of your own. Spoiler: it's pretty good.
From budget to flagship
The highest-end model the P10 Plus runs on Kirin's 960 processor, and a generous 6GB of RAM as well as 128GB of storage as well as a 5.5in Quad HD display. As for the P10, it has a 5.1in Full HD display, with less RAM and storage (4GB and 64GB).
As for the cameras, the P10 Plus has a 20MP (monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) back camera combol with OIS and an 8MP f/1.9 front camera. The P10 Plus has the same setup but uses an older camera, as in the ones on last year's P9 and Mate 9 series.
Battery-wise, the P10 Plus has a 3750mAh battery while the P10's is a smaller 3200mAh.
Right now the phones come in Graphite Black and Prestige Gold colour options, with more to perhaps come in future.
Pricing: the P10 Plus is retailing for RM3099, the P10 for RM2499 and the P10 Lite for RM1299. Preorders will open 23 March 2017, with open sales beginning 31 March.
