Doogee brings its latest smartphones to Malaysian shores

Company bringing in more powerful phones this time

Haven’t heard of Doogee? Well the company launched a few entry-level smartphones last year but it’s returned with more powerful offerings including its flagship F7 Pro. Besides the F7 pro, it is also bringing in its T6 and Y200 phones, as well as a mini projector – the Doogee Smart Cube P1.

The Doogee F7 Pro has a 5.7in Full HD IZGO screen and has a lot of RAM; 4GB in fact. It’s running a Helio X20 processor and has 32GB of flash storage, a 4,000mAh battery as well as a 21MP rear camera. There’s also a fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port.

Other than that, there’s also its T6, the dream phone for anyone wanting a long-lasting battery. It has a 6,250mAh battery which is more juice than we’ve seen on a phone so far. It has a 5.5in 720p display with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a MediaTek MTK6735 processor. Camera-wise, it’s equipped with a 13MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front camera. It costs RM599 and will be a Gemfive exclusive.

There’s also the Doogee Y200 that shares the same hardware as the T6 except for its smaller 3,000mAh battery, larger storage of 32GB as well as an 8MP front cam and fingerprint sensor. It’ll cost a bit more: RM699.

Now what was that about a projector? Well the Doogee Smart Cube P1 is a tiny little cube that has a 4,800mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage, an Amlogic quad-core processor an a 70 lumen brightness. Going for RM999, it’ll be available in Q3, 2016.

Here’s a surprise: A Doogee S1 smartwatch. It runs pure Android 4.4 KitKat instead of Android Wear and has a 1.54in 240 x 240 display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and runs on a MediaTek MT6572 quad-core processor.

Pricing has yet to be finalised for the F7 Pro but we do know that it will be out in Q2 next year. In the meantime, check out our picks for budget phones.
