Ever since its announcement in CES 2015 back in January, there hasn’t been much news about the Asus ZenFone Zoom, but Asus Malaysia stated that it will be launched in Malaysia by the end of 2015.
The ZenFone Zoom is, yes you guessed it, a camera-centric smartphone and from what we have seen in CES 2015, it seems like a very decent one. The main shooter is a 13MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation, Laser Autofocus, 10 element lens, 3x optical zoom, and dual-colour Real Tone Xenon flash. The selfie shooter is a 5MP sensor with an 88-degree f/2.0 lens.
As for other specs, the phone has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p IPS display and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Asus ZenUI and has 128GB of internal storage with support for 4G LTE connectivity. Only thing that are missing is the processor and RAM as there are no information released on them. So let’s hope they release some news about the phone before the release date.
