Asus’ line of Zenbook laptops have been slick, modern, and reliable. The folks over at Asus put their hearts and souls into this line of laptops, and it definitely shows with each iteration. The Zenbook is getting a huge leap in innovation with the Zenbook Pro Duo, a dual-screen laptop that is finally seeing a release soon.
As we’ve covered earlier this year during its announcement at Computex 2019, the second screen is placed right above the keyboard, acting similar to the Touch Bar that most modern Macbooks have, albeit in a much bigger capacity. This second touch screen, known as the ScreenPad Plus, is capable of being a second monitor while you play games or even display two 1080p videos at the same time.
The Zenbook Pro Duo features an Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics card, a Thunderbolt 3 port, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 15.6-inch OLED screen. There will be two versions of this laptop, with the high-end model equipped with an Intel i9-9980HK processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 4K display, while the lower-end having an Intel Core i7-9750H processor, 16GB of RAM, and a FHD display.
The Asus Zenbook Pro Duo will be releasing in the US on the 6th of September, with no word on a Malaysian release just yet. The lower spec model is priced at around MYR 10,500, while the 4K model is about MYR 12,600.
