It's rare to actually associate a brand like Samsung with gaming notebooks, but in CES 2019, the manufacturer has revealed the Samsung Notebook Odyssey - their latest attempt at the category.
The Odyssey is its first machine to support the NVIDIA RTX 2080, and it also features a 15.6-inch 1080p screen running at 144Hz with GSYNC. The laptop will be powered by Intel 8th generation Core i7 hexacore CPU, up to 16GB RAM, and support for two NVMe SSDs. The notebook features a metallic body design with a central hinge below the monitor, and weighs about 2.3 kg.
The Odyssey is not the lightest nor does it support 4K resolution unlike its competitors, but it's interesting nonetheless to what a gaming laptop from Samsung is capable of. As of now, the manufacturer has not revealed its pricing, but the notebook is expected to be available early this year.
