Redmi continues their legacy of offering affordable smartphones with the Redmi Note 8 that comes with a 48MP quad camera and with retail prices starting from MYR599. It's the first smartphone from Redmi to have a quad camera setup, and together with the ultra-high resolution 48MP primary sensor, it has a 120 degree ultra wide-angle and 2cm auto focus macro lens on the rear camera. It also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE, a high-efficiency octa-core processor that's all about performance and efficiency, and it even has an IR remote, a feature that many smartphones have phased out recently! On top of that, it's packed with a 4000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging so you can expect plenty of energy to keep the smartphone going for up to two days.

It comes in three colours; Space Black, Neptune Blue and Moonlight White. The Redmi Note 8 is significantly more affordable than the Redmi Note 7; the 3GB + 32GB is retailed at MYR599, the 4GB + 64GB at MYR799 and the 4GB+ 128GB at MYR899. The Redmi Note 7 retailed at MYR679 - MYR949. If you pre-order the 4GB + 6GB from 8 to 11 October 2019, you will get a Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic worth MYR99. You can pre-order from Lazada, Shopee and from Authorised Mi Stores.
