Stuff Picks: The Acer Predator 21 X

And after the jump, a QLED screen for your living room, a jazzy mouse, and a digital/instant camera hybrid

Acer Predator 21 X (RM39,999)

Coming in at RM39,999, the Predator 21 X is around the price of a brand new Perodua Bezza!

It's the first laptop in the world to have a curved 21in IPS display (2560 x 1080 resolution) with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the Predator 21 X is a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, and dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphic cards with 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory. Its 21:9 aspect ratio, NVIDIA G-SYNC and SoundPound 4.2+ (consisting of 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers) coupled with 3-way audio and Dolby Audio promises a gaming experience that’s out of the world (like its price tag). A further addition to the gaming experience is the Tobii eye-tracking technology that identifies enemies, aim and take cover just by looking at the screen for select games.

With only 300 units limited worldwide, anyone interested in buying this monster machine should email ama.marcom@acer.com

Samsung QLED Q8C 75in (RM36,999)

Boasting 100 percent colour volume, it’ll be a sight for sore eyes and with HDR 1500, you’ll see every nitty gritty detail.
