Jake Sully (Avatar)
Now, this one struck a cord with our heart – it gives a paraplegic a chance to walk again through an avatar, who also strives to save the earth (no wonder it was one of the top blockbuster hits).
Just don't think about Jake's original, not-so-noble intentions of infiltrating the Na'vi to chase them out and leave the land ripe for the picking of, wait for it, unobtanium (seriously, unobtain?). He did end up doing a Dances with Wolves by the end of the film.
Alfred Pennyworth (Batman)
From years and years of watching Batman, there’s one thing that remains constant – Alfred Pennyworth’s faithfulness to The Dark Knight. He was such an integral part of Batman’s life that he had to upload his “brain algorithms” into the Batcomputer so he could continually brief his master whenever he fights crime on the streets of Gotham.
Awww, how sweet, if you think Alfred's constant mothering of Bruce Wayne isn't potential stalker behaviour.
A geeky teen is absorbed into his computer and in the process gains all the information on the Internet. And what's kid to do with all that information? Uphold freedom and righteousness. Sounds like the perfect superhero, if he’s not randomly distracted by something.
