Oppo India today announced a brand new budget smartphone called the A52. The Oppo A52 packs in all the gear you will probably ever need in a phone and slaps on a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging at just ₹16,990.
This budget beauty features a 6.5-inch 1080p display that’s devoid of notches because this one also packs in a 16MP hole-punch camera at the top. There’s no camera popping action here, but there’s plenty of equipment at the back to get the job done. This would include a 12MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide, a 2MP “mono” lens and a 2MP portrait lens.
Slick design aside, this one skips on an optical in-display fingerprint reader and goes for a more reliable capacitive unit built into the power button. As for what you get inside, there’s a Qualcomm 665 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage (4+128GB and 8+256GB variants expected soon). This one’s available in Twilight Black and Stream White and is powered by Android 10 with ColorOS 7.1 running the show.
Alongside the A52, Oppo also announced its new Enco W11 truly wireless earphones. These bean-shaped earphones focus on a clean design with an enhanced bass with its 8mm dynamic speaker and IPX5 water resistance. The charging case also gets you 5 hours from a single charge and a total of 20 hours from the case.
