When the apocalypse comes and Mad Max style bandits roam the roads, where will you be?
The answer to this question should tell you whether you deserve a Harley-Davidson or not. If you yearn for the road and have badassery in your bones then this is your time to rejoice. Harley-Davidson has introduced an all new model lineup- Think revised power, style, features and prices. Our favorite, pictured above, the Return of the Road King, represents custom touring at its finest. While it may look like a boulevard cruiser, the Road King is fully equipped for long-distance touring so start planning that cross-country adventure now. Price? An eye-watering ₹25 lacs.
The Road King too much for the wallet? Well, you’re in luck. The entry-level Iron 883 and Forty-Eight have been entirely refreshed as well. The 883 oozes street cred with bare-knuckle minimalism courtesy straight-cut mufflers, a low drag-style handlebar, chopped rear fender and a solo tuck and roll seat. Yours for ₹7.37 lacs.
The Forty-Eight, with its angry bulldog stance now has a new seat and wheels, and that iconic 2.1 gallon peanut tank sports all new 70s-inspired graphics to really get that retro going. It is now also available in Velocity Red Sunglo colour which is too tame a name for a Harley-Davidson shade. Available for ₹9.12 lacs.
The pocket friendly(relatively) Street 750 also got a small makeover- tuned suspension and new braking systems. Available at an almost-affordable price of ₹4.52 lacs. A new range of clothes has also been launched in case you can’t afford the bikes but still want to look the part.
All prices mentioned here are ex-showroom, Delhi. We will be getting our hands on one of these monsters soon enough and we promise to get really dirty. So check back for a full review and in the meantime, start saving for a leather jacket.
