HTC Vive has come a long way from its initial release. Starting off with what seemed like wearing a headset full of wires, it gave you the best VR experience along with how Bob Marley’s head feels. Now the company has teased a headset that uses the HTC Viveport platform for content. It has a Snapdragon 835 under its hood and will work without plonking in a smartphone or connecting it to an eye-watering ₹1lac PC. Unfortunately, the headset is set to release only in China but no woman, don’t cry. HTC plans to release a standalone Daydream VR headset later this year. We have our fingers crossed for an India release as well. Until then, you can check out the HTC Vive here.
