...also secures the budget market as an ally

We’ve seen the Strix, we’ve seen the flagship GXs and now Asus has the TUF series for us. We had been invited to a hush-hush soft launch of the product and came back quite happy. The new TUF FX504 is priced reasonably at ₹69,990 and the focus here is to get the maximum price to performance ratio. It’s got a new ‘Quad Blade’ design that looks rather industrial to say the least, but is a fresh take on the budget segment. The FX504 comes in four different exterior coatings, including Black Matter, Red Matter, Premium Steel and Fusion. Its exterior is made from high quality plastic coated in metallic paint with a hair-line surface treatment. But it’s not just a pretty face. For the price, you get a 120Hz display with a 3ms response time and 130% sRGB, a choice of Nvidia 1050/1050Ti GPUs, latest 8th-generation Core-i7 processors, RAM clocked at 2666mHz and a re-worked keyboard. Interestingly, the FX504 also has the FireCuda SSHD that should make things faster than traditional HDDs. Excited? We will have a review up soon.
