Well, so is every other flagship these days! But Oppo seems to have done things quite differently with its third-generation ‘Find’ flagship smartphone called the Find X2 Pro. For starters, there’s a 65W fast-charging system that should cure battery anxiety by charging the smartphone’s battery up to 40% in just 10 minutes. If that did not impress you, there’s also a 3K (3168*1440) QHD+ display with a billion colours and a brisk 120Hz refresh rate that makes the UI feel fluid and games responsive. The Pro also packs the usual Snapdragon 865, 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage, so nothing missing on the performance front here. The cameras don’t double up from the norm that is 64MP or with a 108MP sensor, but a more down to earth 48MP (wide) + 48MP (ultra-wide) + 13MP sensor attached to a periscope camera. Oppo claims that using its Hybrid Zoom tech, the X2 Pro can get you ‘usable photos’ at 60x zoom. And all of the above is powered by Oppo’s ColorOS 7.1 that is based on Android 10. And it looks good too with that waterfall display on the front and yummy vegan leather options on the curved back. This one’s built to impress (and so far we sure are). What we are not sure about is an India launch (the motorized Find X did come to India), but this one’s priced at €1199 and will go on sale in early May in Europe.
