Once a wanna-have brand and considered a developer-favourite brand, HTC seems to try another chance in the smartphone race. However, they are now playing in the budget category. Out with two new smartphone variants under the Wildfire X name, HTC is trying to grab a market share which is presently dominated by the Chinese giants. Priced at ₹12,999 and ₹9999 for the 4GB/128GB and 3GB/32GB variants respectively, HTC offers the new shiny handsets in Sapphire Blue only. The new entrants offer a security tool that sounds loud alarms and sends out live location data to your loved ones. On the hardware front, the WildfireX provides a 6.22in HD waterdrop display with an 8MP selfie camera. A 12MP+5MP+8MP camera trio makes up for the rear cameras, while the entire handset is powered by Android Pie and fuelled by a 3300mAh battery. Whether you were an HTC fan or not, or simply looking for a low-cost budget Android, check out one of these pick on Flipkart starting August 22.
