It’s a snap

Carrying a power bank with you everywhere is old school. You can now snap on a power bank to the back of your phone and forget about it. At least if you’re an iPhone user. Apple has quietly launched a new MagSafe battery pack for its iPhone 12 series that simply snaps to the back of your phone and starts charging it. While an external battery pack for the iPhone is not new, the MagSafe version is quite practical as your Type-C port is free for other use. The battery pack offers 5W wireless charging on-the-go, and if connected to a 20W power adapter, it will offer up to 15W charging to the phone. The MagSafe Battery Pack is compatible with the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It is currently listed on the Apple India website with a price tag of ₹10,900. But there is no word on when deliveries will kick off.
