Comedy Premium League

If you’re into India’s standup comedy scene, then you can’t miss this reality show that brings together 16 of the best comics in a no-holds-barred battle of wits and words. The six episodes will see comics like Kenny Sebastian, Aadar Malik, Rahul Dua, Rohan Joshi, Kaneez Surka and more explore multiple formats of comedy. 

Untold: Deal With the Devil

Netflix is adding another investigative documentary to its collection, called Untold: Deal with the Devil. This series is based on the life of female boxer Christy Martin, her career, and also her personal struggles with substance abuse, threats from her ex-husband, and more.

Amazon Prime Video

Kaali Peeli Tales

As the name suggests, it is an anthology of short stories based on themes ranging from marriage, divorce, romance, infidelity, and more. The six-part series stars Vinay Pathak, Soni Razdan, Gauahar Khan, Sayani Gupta among others, and will air on Amazon’s shopping app. 


This Malayalam family entertainer is a story about a technologically challenged senior citizen, Oliver, who struggles to bond with his social media-addicted sons. But as he starts understanding this online world, he too finds himself engrossed in it. Directed by Rojin Thomas, the film stars Indrans and Sreenath Bhasi in lead roles.

Nine Perfect Strangers

This mini-series is based on The New York Times’ bestselling book by Liane Moriarty. Set at a health-and-wellness resort, the story revolves around nine city dwellers who are looking for a better way of living, and are well on their way until things take an unexpected turn.

Truth Be Told (season 2)

Making a return is the series Truth Be Told, which features Octavia Spencer reprising her role of true-crime podcaster Poppy Parnell. Season two sees Parnell’s childhood friends involved in a case that’s full of mystery, deceit, and the hunt for justice.

What’s better than watching Abhay Deol in an international film? Not much. Spin is about Rhea, an Indian American teen who discovers her passion for creating DJ mixes. She learns of her natural gift for creating beats and producing music, but must find the courage to follow her true inner talent. The film stars Avantika, Abhay Deol and Meera Sayal, and is directed by Manjari Makijany. 

Lionsgate Play

Dr Death

Premiering today on Lionsgate Play is the critically acclaimed crime-drama series Dr Death. It is based on the real story of Dr Christopher Duntsch (played by Joshua Jackson), an ostensibly brilliant doctor in Texas, who would leave his patients maimed or dead while conducting routine spinal surgeries.


200 Halla Ho

Back in front of the camera is the legendary actor Amol Palekar in this movie that’s inspired by true events. It tells the story of how 200 dalit women took on a gangster and serial rapist in open court by taking the law and justice into their own hands.



Chalo Koi Baat Nahi

Adding to our list of comedies in this list is Chalo Koi Baat Nahi on SonyLIV. It features a host of sketches by comics like Abish Matthew, Suresh Menon, Atul Khatri, and is hosted by Ranvir Shorey and Vinay Pathak.
