Garmin launches slimmer, sleeker GPS

The nuvi 2567LM GPS to feature localized maps and voiced streetnames

People know GPS’s to be these large clunkers that are thick and heavy devices that you could probably knock a person out with. Garmin decided to get with the time and introduce a slimmer GPS product that is about as thin as your average tablet, namely 0.76" thick to be precise.

With the local version coming pre-loaded with Malaysian and Singaporean maps, the 5” GPS features Garmin’s more popular functions such as photoReal junction view and One Shot Address Entry along some newer tech like Garmin Real Direction and Real Voice with localized voices for accurate pronounciation of street names. They’ve also debuted their Up Ahead function that alerts you to landmarks and hazards up before you pass it.

While the price is not yet confirmed, the nuvi 2567LM will include lifetime map updates.
