Check out the leaked design of the Note device. What do you think?
Everybody has seen one – whether it is being used by a friend, family member, or some random stranger on the street. The Samsung Galaxy Note is famous all over the world, and it is due for an upgrade. There are rumours already on what the phone will have inside, but not on the design.
Sim Only Radar, a Dutch tech site, received tips of possible sketches of the upcoming phablet from Samsung. Apparently this leak was from the upcoming manual for the device. While at a first glance the design may look like any of the many Galaxy devices that has been launched recently, we would like to direct your eyes to the extra-big flash module next to the camera lens.
While this is may not signify anything, the fact that the included specs list gives this phone a 13 megapixel sensor, lends credence that a big sensor needs some beefy flash. Possibly Xenon at this point of time.
Another gem from the leak shows that the new device will be fitted with a physical shutter button – something that has never been seen on a Note-class device before.
Other than the camera button, it will have a larger 5.7 inch screen with a 1080p Full HD resolution – presumably Super AMOLED, Android Jellybean (unsure which version at this point of time) and most likely multiple storage options as per previous models. We could also see multiple models aimed for different carriers, with Samsung’s own ‘octa-core’ CPU in one, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon in another.
Samsung will be holding a press conference on the 3rd of September, so we can decide all of the info above are fact, or fiction by then.
