Legoland Malaysia to host world's largest Lego Millenium Falcon

Model will be assembled on-site, with visitors invited to help

Star Wars fans should probably consider visiting Legoland Malaysia Resort. This May 4, they’ll be able to see what might be the largest Lego version of Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon.

It’s going to be built by a father and son master builder team, Daniel and Christopher Steininger. They’ll be working from April 30 to May 2 with 200,000 bricks. Before the ship is unveiled on May 3, visitors can also get in on the Lego-building game

The Lego model will be on display until the end of May and visitors will get their own souvenir in the form of a mini Lego version of the Millennium Falcon.

Besides the model, there is also going to be other activities for Star Wars fans. There’ll be an Imperial March by Stormtroopers led by someone dressed as Darth Vader along others in costumes on May 7 and 8. 501st Legion Star Wars costumers will be there participating in the event.

There’ll also be a chance to take your photo at the Lego Star Wars photo walls as well as looking at the submissions of Lego Star Wars scenes submitted by Lego fans, the 99 finalists of the Lego My Own Creation competition.

For those with little ones, there’ll be chances to win prizes by uploading pictures of your own Lego Star Wars spaceships to the Legoland Malaysia Resort facebook page, with the hashtags #masteryourforce and #LEGOStarWarsDay
