Asus ZenFone AR makes its Malaysian debut

First flagship-level smartphone to come with the best of AR and VR

The Asus Zenfone AR, the first phone that supports both Google's Tango as well as Daydream, has arrived in Malaysia.

High-spec VR

With its Tango support, the phone is ready to work well with AR apps, like previewing furniture before you splash the cash, or creating your dream jungle race track sprawling across your bathroom (we don't recommend using the phone in the tub, however).

And if you want a great phone to use with your brand new Google VR headset, the phone does that well too.

The specs-list for the Malaysian arrival is also pretty high-end: Snapdragon 821, 8GB of RAM, a 5.7in Super AMOLED display and 128 of storage, along with a long lasting 3300mAh battery.

As for the camera, it's a 23MP f/2.0 sensor with OIS in the rear, with an 8MP sensor in the front with the same aperture. As fitting as high-end phone nowadays, it uses a Type-C connector.
