The TAMO RACEMO will make you drift back and forth from the virtual and physical realm

Ready, Set, TATA….

What’s TAMO? I only know mayo.

Keep that foot long sub down, Tata Motors has just unveiled its sports coupé - the RACEMO - at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show. The car has a turbocharged and intercooled 1.2L Revotron engine that produces 190hp at 6,500rpm and 210Nm of torque. It goes from 0-100kmph in under 6 seconds.

Oh it's TATA, why did you write TAMO? Is your subeditor sick again?

No, it's not a mistake. TAMO is a sub-brand of TATA Motors that works as a center of new technologies, business models, future concepts and partnerships. And yes our subeditor is sick, send in your well wishes.

Sounds like he lost all connections with his doctor.

Probably. But not the TAMO RACEMO. It’s India’s first connected car that's powered by Microsoft to enable cloud computing, analytics, geo-spatial, mapping and the overall human-machine interface.

This doesn’t pique my tokyo-drifting-to-virtual-world fantasy.

RACEMO is the first Indian car to be available on the Forza Horizon 3 game for you to drift about at will. You will also get to experience the car in virtual reality with Microsoft's Hololens.

I want the best of both worlds.

The TAMO RACEMO will be in showrooms soon, hopefully by the end of this year but they haven’t disclosed any dates or prices. The RACEMO+, that is the game version, will be available on the Forza Horizon 3 from today.
