Sansa's family of born killers is growing. Its latest addition is the Sansa View, which seems to have had a re-jig from the model we saw at CES to emerge as a sleek-lined iPod baiter.Nestling in neatly between the Nano and the Classic in size terms, it trumps the new Nano on capacity with up to 16GB on board, while nudging near to the iPod Classic on screen size, at a respectable 2.4in.There's an FM radio on-board for taking a break from the playlist and should that 16GB start to look dangerously full, there's a handy SDHC slot just begging for high-capacity SD cards – think of it as a player that can grow with you.Sadly there's none of the Sansa Connect's Zune-beating Wi-Fi features but we'll swap that for its stonking 35-hour battery life (reduced to seven when watching flicks) and its slim jim frame – a waif-like 9mm at its thinnest. As Bernard Matthews would say: bootiful.Essentials SanDisk Sansa View 8GB, 16GB Price: £TBA ($150, $200 in US) On sale: TBA (October in US)Contact: SanDisk Related stories: Gadget of the Day – Cowon iAudio D2 The iPod Touch is here – and it's Wi-Fi Wi-Fi Sansa leads a new Sandisk MP3some
