Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse gets Kickstarter treatment

Point and click adventurers are in for a veritable treat as Revolution Software has announced it will be bringing out a new instalment in the fan-favourite Broken Sword series – and you can help fund it.
Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse has been put up on website Kickstarter, with a US$400,000 investment needed within 30 days for the project to go ahead. This means no money, no adventure for you. Nearly US$40,000 has been raised within a day so panic not, the game is definitely on target.
Donating a bit of your hard earned doesn't just net you a warm sense of satisfaction, though. US$15 and upwards will secure you a digital copy of the game itself, which will see heroes George Stobbart and Nico Collard reunited in a whole new adventure. Effectively, all you're doing is pre-ordering the game – before it's even made.
Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse will hit the shops in "early 2013". Hopefully a mobile version will be released, too.
