Rumour Mill – LG Optimus 3D

The world’s first 3D smartphone could be in the offing from LG, and could be launched in a matter of weeks

We’ve heard scratchings about an LG Optimus 3D before, but new rumours suggest it will be launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month.

A retailer leak first suggested the phone’s existence, bolstered by a hint-laden LG MWC invite that mentions a “new dimension.” Now Phandroid thinks it’s got a pic (below) of the device, which is rumoured to have a 4.3in glasses-free 3D screen and a dual-core processor.

We’ll be chasing down a less speculative version of LG’s three-dimensional handset from MWC in Barcelona in a couple of weeks.
